3/21- 2 of the volunteers for our rescue have made it their mission to pick up stray dogs in their county. They use traps and food and whatever means it takes to stop the suffering. This really should be a law enforcement problem, but it isn't. Without a shelter or money to fund any animal control except in the county seat, and that shelter is high kill, these dogs are left to their own survival. Momma Kash was found with a litter of puppies. All of these puppies are adopted with the exception of Zoey and Ziva and they have been fixed . Spay/neuter is the only answer anywhere. We cannot count on dog owners to do the right thing, so we must help get laws enforced and passed to make it a crime to allow your dog to roam and breed at will. Kash obviously had a home at one time but she needs a new home and remains available. Her tail has been docked. Probably after becoming pregnant she was dumped in the middle of nowhere in winter. Please make this a happy ending story by adopting either Kash, Ziva Zoey or any of our 50 plus dogs available. Not all of our dogs are listed, just e-mail us and we will send you what is available. $125.00 is the donation for the fully fixed and vetted Zoey.
